New to precision shooting like many others. I just received my remington 700 from my local gunsmith today after he installed my muzzle brake and trijicon tenmile 4.5-30x56.
Just one problem,
He tells me it's zeroed to 50 yards (the only available in my area) and I only have a few clicks left in my windage adjustment to adjust left.
After he showed me after taking the dial apart I noticed a threaded pin and several threaded slots and asked if maybe the set screw needed to be moved elsewhere. After looking at instructions that were vague and a vague online tutorial a youtuber mentions after zeroing you can move the set screw elsewhere after zero and you get 5 minutes of adjustment in left or right on windage.
I guess tenmiles are very uncommon in my area
