I just purchased a new 20" REPR and am starting my reloads what are you using for your seating depth. Also if anyone has any good load ideas they would be greatly appreciated.I am currently using 168 gr SMK with Winchester brass and Varget powder. thanks again.

Re: new to reloading

44.2 of varget is an accuracy load used with 168s and 175s. Work up to it though.

Re: new to reloading

i got a bad load idea lol dont forget to clean out your charge master when going from loading a pistol to a rifle. It will blow your gun the fuck up lol a mistake i wont soon forget

Re: new to reloading

44gr Varget is great as mentioned, H4895 starting at 40.5gr is also exceptional in those guns. for seat depth I'd recommend starting at a 0.020 "jump" and work back toward the lands. a lot of gassers love a jump.
