New to San Antonio

Hey all! Just moved to San Antonio and looking to find a nice range that will allow me to shoot out to 500-600 yards. Any recommendations?

Welcome from Indiana! Try searching for San Antonio or Texas if you don't get an answer here. I did that for Indiana and found references to ranges I never knew about. Hope that helps!

Are you looking for public or private membership ranges?

Kerrville has a large membership range Hill Country Shooting Sports. 500 yds. plus rifle nad pistol as well as skeet and trap. An Olympic Skeet shooter trains there.
Apache Rifleworks is just outside Comfort, TX, and is a full service indoor range.
There are no places where one can just pull out on a dirt road and start shooting, that I know of.

South Hills is about an hour west, i think its by appt type thing only

Foxtrot is south ~30-1hr min depending on where u are in SA, yearly membership

old #9 is in comfort but theyve changed how they run things a few different times and im not sure how its set up anymore

Old Number #9 is no longer available from what I've heard recently.
