Northern Colorado
Hello everyone,

North Carolina transplant now in northern Colorado. I've been shooting what I thought was long distance (max 500 yards) out on an old family farm for several years now, but since moving realized there's a lot to learn even at that distance. Currently running a Remington 700 SPS Tactical version (20" .308) its not the greatest thing but its working for now.

I would like to hear some opinions on that particular setup. Such as is it worth upgrading the stock to something like a KRG Bravo? Or moving on to something like the Howa with the KRG Bravo or the Bergara B-14 HMR? Keep in mind I will mainly target shoot with this setup but will occasionally take it hunting, so a full chassis isn't what I'm really looking for. Or maybe something completely different, but want to stick with .308 for now.

Thanks in advance for any help!
