Hey all, I'm new to the forum. Spent the last week doing alot of reading. I'll start by saying that I'm an avid hunter and hunt everything north dakota has to offer. My goal is to become the best I can be so I can take that long shot having the knowledge and skill to ethically take an animal. My current setup (I know alot are gonna laugh but I really dont care) is a savage model 12lrp in 6.5 creedmoor topped with a razor gen2 4.5-27x56 ebr-7c. I'm looking forward to the insight some of you guys have and am always willing to learn.

Your setup is better than my stock rem 700 .308 with a 2.5-10 viper, but I have the space to shoot 1000 and can get 20in groups, so just practice and learn your rig, try shooting on windy days for fun. That's what I do and set goals, my next goal is a 10in group at 1000.
