New Topics -> Leave out certain sub categories

Since this site is build on Vbullitin, could we get an option to choose not so see certain categories when using the New Topics feature

for instance, I don't need to see anything from the sales section and right now, the New Topics feature for the most part shows only items from the sales section.

So, an option to choose wether or not to see certain sub fora would be nice
