(New) Virginia Governor Youngkin bans CRT in Virginia schools

I made a podcast episode solely about getting out to vote this dude in on election day. I'm really excited for Virginians. You guys are about to experience change that most Virginians have never seen before. I can't wait to see what comes of it. I'm hoping NC will wake up and kick Cooper and company to the curb in the next election.

I know using acronyms is cool and hip, but for the love of God for people who are not cool and hip like myself can we please spell out what the hell the post is about on the first post and title.....WTF....LOL

CRT= Critical Race Theory
Who doesnt know what “CRT in schools” refers to? If you meet one of those people, just tell them to go back to the rock they've been hiding under for the last three years.

How about banning mentally disturbed dudes who think they are women from competing in women's sports next? Seems like a no-brainer to me.
How about reopening the asylums so these twisted freaks have somewhere to go back to?

It’s a start. Now put our GD statues back up and move on with life.
I love your post. And I'm labeled as a yank for living in the north.
Long live states rights!

Good News for sure!

Meanwhile, our fucking State is pushing this CRT bullshit as far as I know. (WA State, governor Dimwit Inslee)

banning it is one thing, but you still have poisonous teachers in the classrooms that are all too happy to push this shit.

Want to wager? The sheriff's association and the police will be the first to raise holy hell at first mention of it.
They were the first to lambaste the constitutional carry in TN when it was pushed by our governor. It'll be like the wild west they said. I said GOOD! It's better than twenty cops standing around crime scene tape AFTER
Like a breath of fresh air!!! Reverse everything Blackface Northam did. Repeal the stupid background checks for private gun sales......

If parents gave a shit gov run schools would go out of business because no one would go to them. But it’s a cheap place to dump your kids off and it teaches them “enough” they will most likely at least be able to get a job at Walmart or join the army.

I tend to agree that the universal background check wont get reversed, but I dont think the sheriffs would argue over the Constitutional Carry here.. Some 98% of Virginia counties voted to become 2nd amendment sanctuaries, and the sheriffs were in on it most everywhere. The sheriff of Culpepper Co. just to my north promised to deputize every man and woman in the county. If you look that county even added 'additional measures'. I got corrected on another forum, by a fellow who moved here from RI, for saying its all the damn 'Yankee' ;) :ROFLMAO: shithole areas that didnt,, so Ill just say it appears that the more populated areas didnt. All the ones in yellow passed it as well. In fact I got stopped for a minor tall light thing, and didnt have my pistol with me that day. Showed the deputy my CCW and told him no weapon today. He says "Why no!" and laughs. One never knows though...

Fuck the statutes. Instead spend time finding and firing every motherfucking teacher and principal that has ever uttered a word in support of CRT or any socialist ideology.

Focusing on stupid shit is why we are losing the culture wars.

When it comes to firearm laws, FUCK THE POLICE

What they want is fucking irrelevant, and we've made it so here in OH.

I hope you are right. Let's just say that one or a few sheriffs don't speak for the association. What I stated has been par for everywhere it's been discussed.

It was a small bite out of the Rights of the citizens of Virginia. Those small bites have been ignored because they are small and everyone eventually gets used to it. That's what got us to where we are now. It needs to be turned under into compost so that the next tyrant doesn't move the bar further.

youngkin seems to be coming out swinging, very nice! if he, lt gov and states atty can remove what the prior crims did allowing counties, cities etc to set their own gun control, i will be VERY impressed.

you don't say I wonder how big the fire would have been if he turned around and made it mandatory reading . I guess politicians can do there jobs when parents get that mad I was hopping to see pitch forks shot guns and marshmallows but you can't always get what you want . one state down too many others need to follow suit .

Or at least make tranny racing and wrestling a separate category, like midget wrestling. It would make a great half-time show.

"Run you big dick freak!"

Trump = too much baggage.
Whats this 'baggage' people speak of? The fact Trump was banned from Twitter for mean tweets and impeached twice on false charges in a bogus, partisan, kangaroo court by a cabal of communist criminals, accusing him of doing what they actually did, which was collude with Russia?

Sorry, anyone who tries to stop the destruction of America by the NWO globalists is going to end up with 'baggage.'

Playing right into the MSM's and nevertrumpers' hands.
To clarify, I'm not saying I wouldn't vote for him if he was the major option. But what is undeniable is that he does stir the shit, and a lot of conservatives hated Trump unfortunately. It was dumb and chaotic. I think it's time to have someone on our side who is a little more tactical. The concept of America First has to be the priority no matter who is in there. Its a loose loose situation if you have a never Trumper mentality as well as a always Trumper mentality, people close themselves off to other opportunities. I think Trump can lead from afar, much like Obama is now running the show from behind the curtin. You follow what I'm saying?

Trump = too much baggage. He did his thing, it stalled a lot of Elites and Globalists, and it woke a lot of people up, but Trump had his day. DeSantis, Noem... or the likes. Will see.
DeSantis or Noem. Cruz will become a tackling dummy during the campaign. Trump will probably flee the country prior to indictment in the next 3-6 months.

If you think that the Kenyan has anything to do with running anything you are sadly mistaken.

He was just as much a sock puppet as the potato is.
There's way more behind the scenes than that buffoon

It's pretty established that Obama is doing some nasty shit through Susan Rice who is heavily involved in the Biden administration. Amongst a lot of others like Soros and Klaus Schwab. It's a spectrum of nastiness.

This is true, not disagreeing. Trump did make some mistakes and left some people in his cabinet who were shit like General Mille, but that's the topic of another discussion. Trump was polarizing and the right man for the job at the time, but it's time for others to carry forward the America Fist agenda. And yes the MSM did too good of a job demonizing Trump, we all know a lot of people suffering from TDS. The fact that Trump was not deemed president again probably saved his life.

You've been here since 2018.

You have no posts (that I could find) earlier than October of last year.

Well over 90% of your posts are political in nature and in the Bear Pit

Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmm...........

Some liberal lurker pushing the debunked Russia collusion hoax probably. Do people even realize that Trump was exonerated of all that spun up lies paid for by the Clinton's? How is no one in jail for that shit. 😕

Excellent.

I like his stance on most things, but that big, loud, mouth and seeming need to attack everyone and everything, tends to turn me off. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Ive found the more options I leave open the better the outcomes.

Its a small, tight knit, cadre, who are mostly all dirty. They know that is SHTF they will likely all swing, so though they hate each other, they fear each other even more. They dont want to get the JFK treatment. Or Clintoned.

Before I voice my potentially unpopular opinion, let me preface with I think the tenants and foundations of anything based in "critical theory" are fundamentally corrupt, unamerican, and often utilized as marxist double speak.

I dont think teaching anything "critical theory" based would fit into a high school curriculum, unless you were in a AP history or some type of "legal" based course. CT/CRT/CLT are much more appropriate for college level students.

With that out of the way, I think the governors putting it to paper to "ban CRT" may need to really invest in how they defend that moving forward.

There is a difference between "teaching CRT" vs "teaching WITH CRT based principles". Doing a simple executive action banning CRT will only get him/them a certain amount of the way to their goal. Principals need to be more involved in the delivery of curriculum, peer teachers need to be aware of how their colleagues are teaching.

The idea of "banning ideas because we dont like them" is also going to be fodder for the left as the right hasn't been successful in understanding the difference and nuance in teaching the history of CRT vs teaching WITH CRT.

Banning shit just usually pushes it further underground where it finds way to spread more like a cancer, under the radar.

Ahhh, Susan Rice is heading in the right direction. A behind the scenes actor passing along the agenda. The Kenyan is a bumbling idiot that could recite a practiced speech without flaw. He's a very likeable polished smooth talker. They, those behind the scenes, set him up to not fail. They are trying to do the same for the potato. They hand out prewritten questions that he practiced the answers for. Ever notice what happened when the monitors failed or someone asked a question that he wasn't prepared for? Potato Jo has been a complete failure in the role. He blurts out stupidity and they shut him down and usher the Pravda out. He's flashed the list several times because he's too stupid, geriatric, to remember who to call on. He's even flashed the answer cheat sheet.
But, back to the Kenyan. It's going to take a bit to convince me that he's doing anything more than enjoying the fruit of his role.
