Gun porn Youtube video for Christmas - Stevens 200 with 10FP-SR barrel .3 moa

Hey I posted a youtube video with the rifle and workups of 75 bthp with H4895 and comparisons to match ammo. I shoots .3 moa 5 shot groups :)

I'll have more videos soon with my N133 and H4895 workups of 50 and 55 gr Hornady that also shot sub moa in the next couple of days.
Not much on tv so enjoy

100 metres to start. The 50 and 55 stuff will be coming soon in mg Savage and mg friends Mossberg MVP

The 75’s handled the wind a bit better. My reloading buddy dumped some coyotes and the bullets hit hard and right on the money out to 300. I’ve killed too many things in my life so now it’s just paper for the most part.

I have been using it for years in my 223. Love it.
Stumbled on it when I was loading some new brass to fire form and was using 335 at the time.
I ran out of 335 with 20 rds. left but had lots of 4895, looked in the book and there was a load there so finished off that 20 with 4895.
They shot the best and that is all I have used since. YMMV

What was the velocity out of what length of a barrel? Also where did you find H4895?

2791 fps out of a 20 inch barrel. Old stock h4895. Getting any commonly used powders is tough these days.

I’ve used XBR for 77 Scenar / SMK and Varget for 75 and 80 eld-m but considering h4895 for my next build throated for Berger 85.5 and 88 ELD-M

Let me know what you’re thinking of reloading and I can add in in Quickload for you. My version needs an update but I’ll check if the powder and bullets are in there.

I’ll post my 50 and 55 gr testing as well as my buddy mikes Mossberg mvp testing here shortly too.

Back in the day I shot the JLK 90gr vld with H4895 in a John Holliger built service rifle upper with a 1:6.5" twist Pac-Nor. That rifle was a bona-fide hammer
