Should have gone with the Bushnell. I've got one I may trade you even, if you cover shipping.

Seriously, for the kind of shooting most of us do, it's one of the very best scopes money can buy. Enjoy it.

Its all the knobs, right?

Re: Newbie question about US Optics

I'm looking for a vendor for one of those, to the OP, who did you go through for the scope?

I've seen some guys order direct from USO, is that a better method than using a USO vendor?

Re: Newbie question about US Optics

Call your order in to USO. You have to wait for it, but you can order EXACTLY what you want and they will build it for you. I should have one coming in a couple weeks.

Examples of custom options: Left handed turrets, reticle options, MOA/MIL, turret type, Milestone/MTC, digital illumination button, built in level, etc... In my experience, they are great to talk to and hopefully accurate on their timelines.

Re: Newbie question about US Optics

I have. It takes a bit of getting used to seeing it, but works like a charm. It joesn't jump right out at you, you have to look down into the eye piece to see it.
