Hi im a newbie and i own a marlin 917S , is this baby a shooter, i didnt fire it yet coz we're in gunban here.

I've heard a lot about the 917's being dead accurate. If you haven't yet, check the 100 to 300 yard shoot thread. SmallBoreSniper has posted some great scores here. I just got a 925. Not so flat shooting, but cheaper to shoot at any rate. Will probably post some 100 yard and short range scores in the April shoot.

I've heard those 917 are very accurate as well. Where the heck are ya that they are in a gun ban?

I'm here in the
Philippines and the national election is passed approaching that's
why gunban is on progress till the mid June..
