Hey guys, I joined up today. I live in NV and am working on a custom build that’s almost finished.
I spent 8 years in the Army, mostly as a weapons specialist (not an armorer!), but also did 2.5 years as. Blackhawk Crew Chief/Door gunner. I spent some time on a security team overseas in Afghanistan as a gunner primarily. I also graduated the Army’s Certified Rifle Marksmanship Instructor course, where I got the highest score on the written test and graduated as “Top Shot.” I have also got to meet and train under some big name people like SSG Bradey who takes the Army Sniper teams and preps them for the big Top Shot competitions, as well as someone who built the custom weapons for SOCOM and the Olympics. I am putting the final touches on my own professional firearms and tactics training business to teach others. In my free time I am writing freelance for gun magazines. Have had a couple articles picked up already and some more on the way. I also just joined and was recognized as a member of the firearms media by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF). I think that’s about it. I hope to help others here with their questions but also hope to really learn a lot myself. I look forward to diving into some of these forums!
