How does it perform? How does the illuminator look? Is it smooth or spotty? Durability? Maintain zero?

Just a few small things😁
The illuminator to me isnt bad, there is what looks like a water drop on the top left. It has what i can only describe as a very light mesh look to it, i only see it when im looking for it or its really dark out. On low i find the illuminator hard to use past 50 yards so i switch to high for most things i need to aim or look at.

I cant say on durability yet. I try not to destroy everything right off the bat. For the record i probably will reck it eventualy.

The laser has wandered inside a few mags (mags are 5 round cap because canada). Im not shure if it's because the windage/elevation knobs got bumped or if its the lam it's self. I never put a witness mark on them so i rezeroed today and am going to check tonight and over the next week. The wind/elevation knobs move really easy and if there is a big move on the knob the first shot will bounce the laser around. Think zeroing an 80's cheap bushnell hunting scope kind of thing.

The laser its self is good. On low it can easily reach out to 300 yards and high does what you would expect more power and bloom on target. I havent tried lazing anything at 1000 or more yet because i didn't see the point.

So my plan tonight is to make sure the knobs are marked and zeroed then see if riding in my truck for a week will shift it or not and check again next weekend. Then if it still doesn't work i get to try newcons customer service.

Hope this helps

I fucked up big some where when i zeroed it the first time. Still trying to figure out what i did wrong.

I acually got it zeroed now and have been checking it regularly. Still holding zero on the laser even after all the banging around. The illuminator moved a little but i think thats from accidental hits to my leg when slung.
