Just wanted to swing in and say hi. I've mostly been a stalker here for a few years now. My first "precision" rig is a factory 20" R700 AAC in 308 that I handload for. Last June was my first time shooting past 100 yards. I took that rifle with my 178gr eld m over Varget loads out to 1120yds and let's just say I'm hooked on long range shooting. That weekend I also managed to shoot a buddies Barrett 99 out to 1040yds. Now I'm working on my first custom rifle built off of a Mk13 Mod5 chassis. I attached some pics from that weekend. The two circled 50cal impacts are my two. The target with me in front is from my 308 while the right side target is my buddies 300 win mag.
