Rifle Scopes NF 3x15 parallax knob turns a bit too easy

Every time I put my rifle in its bag and pull it out again I notice the parallax knob has turned a bit. It spins fairly easy. Is is supposed to be easy or does it need heavier grease?

Its not a real big issue but I do wish it would stay where I put it.

Mine is quite firm and is reluctant to move without my grasp. Someone correct me if I am wrong, inside here should be an O-ring applying resistance and sealing the knob from the elements, but I cannot say how one would rectify your problem. I might shoot an email to Nightforce, they have proven to provide reliable aid.
