Rifle Scopes NF Direct Mount

I'm interested in perhaps acquiring a NF direct mount for my new-to-me NF NXS 5.5-22x56 MLR, but I'm not sure if the integrated rings will be tall enough for the bell to clear the barrel of my LTR.

Does anyone know if the Direct Mount can clear a 56 objective lens?

Find the height of the mount to the centerline of the rings, convert to mm, then subtract 32.5.

There are 2 different heights (1" and 1.125") and Nightforce makes them I'm sure with the idea that you'll use them to mount their scopes. I've got to imagine that the 1.125" one would work just fine.

Actually, I read that just a bit ago. The High 1.125" mount works for the 56mm objective and still allows for scope caps.

I have 1" height NF rings on a Badger base with my 5.5-22x56 and I can still put caps on. That's with a #7 barrel. Not sure how the Direct mount is measured as i have never used one but I would check where the 1" and 1.125" measurements are from before deciding. Give NF a call.
