Say I got an F1 with .25 moa adjustments.... and I want .1 mil adjustments. Will NF offer this service and by doing so...what all takes place? Just new turrets or does it take internal work?

    thanks for any advice given

    Will ask the silly question.....

    +1

Definitely start over. By the time you end up paying to have the reticle and turrets changed, you could be into a whole new category / price range of scope.

If you purchased the NF scope cheap enough it would be worth changing over to Mil/Mil. I have a New in the Box Schmidt and Bender Scope with CW turrets and 1/4MOA. I got the scope relatively cheap. I called S&B and they want $550 to convert to CCW turrets with mil/mil. Not a bad price for a high end scope. Did you call NF and ask how much to change over? Its really a cost trade off. Frankly, I decided to stay MOA and CW turrets. Some of this stuff is what I call "Tacti-cool." Meaning its the latest cool scope function for tactical purposes. The 1/4MOA will get the job done with CW turrets. I am not a military sniper or assassin so I am ok with a S&B 4-16x50 PMII LP illuminated P4f reticle with MOA and CW turrets. Its a great target/tactical scope and can take care of a lot of zombies if need be. Its mounted on a PTR91. So it can be real street sweeper if the SHTF.

Adjustment changes in an F1 are not that bad. Reticle changes are a pain.

The caveat with getting a modification to your NF scope is that they have suspended all modification services until September in order to meet product demand.

The suggestion to sell and buy new with what you want is probably the best idea. NF scopes hold great resale value.

The big issue at hand is having adjustments that match your reticle. So long as it is mil/mil or MOA/MOA it is fine. Mismatches in adjustments and reticles make you do more math than necessary when ranging.

    Re: NF F1?

I was in the service and served as a 4b.... I will never own a moa/mil optic again. Mil/mil is a simple and effective set up. If my trade goes through there will be a NF F1 for sale. Thanks for the feedback gents.
