Rifle Scopes NF NXS adjustment

Not sure I understand your question. If you are 1" low and 1" to the right at 100 yards you turn your elevation knob up .3 mil or 1 moa depending on your scope and move your windage the same to the left. Then zero both knobs and you are through.

With the two shot method you use sandbags or a shooting rest and make a shot. Without moving the rifle, you then move the adjustment turrets until the crosshairs are over the POI. The next shot should be spot on, or close. Tweak until you are happy, then adjust your turret caps until they are zeroed out. Be careful not to torque the zero stop screw too much. The entire NXS is tough as nails but the zero stop screw is tiny and can strip out. You can adjust it to where you want, I like to have at least half mil under my zero for different loads.

roggom, I am perplexed by your comments on the ZS screw. All my scopes are ZS and all have four screws that must be loosened before you can turn the clutch down to the zero stop. But I do agree that when I turn it down all the way to stop I then back it off just a bit so I can go below my 100 yard zero if needed.

^^^ correct, for clarification, with the turret cap off the zero stop is exposed. It must be loosened before you can adjust, then retightened to hold the zero position (for zero stop). That small screw is prone to stripping if cranked down too hard. Like you, I twist the zero stop to the bottom, then back it out a bit to allow for .5 mil travel beyond zero. Last step is to replace the Turret cap on zero and tighten.

What OFG says. It's a simple process but it sure took me a while to get used to doing it.
Oh, enjoy that new NF!

Yeah that's what I was asking because say your POI is 1" left all scopes I've used you adjust the reticle 1" left onto the POI. But have heard high end scopes can go the other way where you would adjust 1" right to bring the impact point onto the reticle point.
