I have decided to get a NF 3.5-15 NXS sfp to put on my 700 5R. I have never ranged with a reticle before and wanted some input from people who have.I will be getting matching turrets but cant decide on the reticle. should i go MOA NP-R1 or 2. Or Mil MLR or Mil-dot. thanks in advance

Depends if you want MOA or mil. Only you can answer that but if it was me I would go mil/ MLR but if I wanted MOA I would get the NP R1 reticle. More lines for both ranging and holds. Mostly for the 2 MOA windage marks instead of the 5 MOA on the NP R2.

Like Rob said, the choice is yours. If I was going MIL it would be the MLR, NP-R1 for MOA.
In a perfect world, NF would have a reticle with 2 MOA on the vertical and horizontal. I have a scope with the R2 and wind hold, moving targets, etc. suck with the 5 MOA hash marks on the horizontal.

+1 if going MOA, go R1. Personally, I don't know if I can tell a difference between 50mm and 56mm obj., other opinions may vary. There's a match @ LRA at the beginning of Dec. if you're interested.
