Rifle Scopes NF with Chrome sticker on objective???

I am looking at a NF 3.5-15 HS and this scope has a chrome NF sticker on the top on the objective. I assume it is something they are doing on the newer scopes. Can someone enlighten me on when they started doing this.

It's the new inspection sticker replacing the white and green one.

Now we'll see a bunch of photos of mounted Nightforce scopes with a chrome sticker. hehe

I'm so not in style... I took mine off my Nightforce scopes.

I took my sticker off. Why do some leave them on? I don't get it.
