Another nice build, this time from Hawaii Gun Shop in Honolulu. This is a black Cadex Dual Strike for Rem 700 long action in 300 Win Mag. @hawaiigunshop

Shawn, I just purchased a Lite Competition Chassis for one if my builds. Looking at this pic, he has a pic rail on the right side of the forearm. There is only one tapped hole on the side of my forearm. Which rail section do I need to order to fit the Competition model? All of the rail sections I see on your site require 2 tapped holes.

Thanks,

Todd

Hello Sir

The chassis you own isn't designed to mount accessory rails on the fore-end tube. It has been designed to be long while remaining lite and affordable so this is why there's no Time-Serts for rail mounting on the sides. The chassis that you see on this picture is a Dual Strike which is a fully all dressed chassis and worth about 300-400 $ more than the one you've bought.

There's still a solution to mount rails on the side of any of our chassis models and it's call Center Accessory Rail Kit (2) and it bolts straight on the center of the chassis at 3 and 9 o'clock, on top of the plastic harmonic dampers called "boomerangs".https://cadexdefence.com/store/index.php?_route_=weapon-accessories/center-side-rail-kit

I hope that it answers your question. If now please contact me at [email protected] and I'll try my best to explain.

Thanks for your purchase.

Best regards

Thanks for the response. I ended up using the existing hole that is on the side and adding another. I purchased another 3" pic rail like the one for my bipod and it bolted up nicely. Now I can run my magnetospeed free floated! PS: I love the quality of this chassis!
