Re: nickel plated bullets

Ok so I have found two different hardness test (Vickers, Brinell) . One has copper higher one with nickel higher.

Re: nickel plated bullets

Well all I get is nickel is a slightly harder, more scratch resistance, and is more malleable. But not by much. With the Brinell Hardness being lower then copper. The price of nickel is higher then copper.

I know they put a little nickel in the 5.0 HO block to make them last a little longer. Ford Baby!
