To my eye: Low light clarity due to about 70% more light gathering area at the front end. (32/24 ~ 1.333 ---> 1.33^2~1.7)
There are other features in the turrets, reticles, etc but I'm not terribly familiar with them. My x32 is a 2009 model with covered turrets and the NPR2

Not to much besides a little more light gathering in the 32 and the overall larger size. I had a 2.5-10 x 24 with a ill. mil dot and mrad turrets with zerostop. Mine was made in the latter part of 2010. Last I heard they were still being produced for the military and no longer for the civilian market that very well may have come to an end as well.
