Anyone download this program ? How accurate is it ?
For the NXS 8x32x56
If anyone does not use or need theirs anymore I'd like to pick a download up and try it ?

Mine works very well and for a beginner it's not overly complicated.

I still use the Nightforce/Exbal, but have recently started using Loadbase, which has a lot more funtions.

Are the calculations on the NF software reticule specific ? or a generic overview ?
I don't have a palm pilot , or Iphone...etc..
I was looking at uploading data on my PC then possibly printing out some form of quick reference cheat sheets ..so to speak

How does the Loadbase apply ? PC, handheld ??

No, Nightforce/Exbal software is not reticle specific. It does have all the different NF reticles loaded and will give you the range for each hash-mark, mil-dot, or whatever reticle you have.

The NF/Exbal program lets you export data to excel and then you can make custom dope sheets from there. You can even print out the reticle range reference, for hold-over shots.

Loadbase comes in either PC or Handheld or both.

Thanks !! that is what I was asking ..if there was a reference to the reticule specific ranging for hold offs .
Since you have used both , I take it you prefer the Loadbase Program ?

They are both great. The Loadbase has a lot more functionality and thus takes a lot more input from the user. Sometimes it can be overwhelming, especially if you've never used a ballistic software package.

I still use both, but I use the Loadbase on my PDA as well as my laptop. The Nightforce/Exbal is only on my laptop.

I brought this software about 6 months ago for use on my AR-10 that is fitted with that exact NF scope. Works well and gets me very close to the 10 ring on the first shot at 600 yards. The one I brought is specific for Pocket PC (HP iPAQ). Good software for a very reasonable price.

Just buy the exbal program, it's the same, just doesn't have the fancy NF logo. It has the Nightforce reticles, plus reticles from other companies.
