I currently have a NF 2.5-10x32mm mounted in NF low (.88) rings on a 20MOA NF base on a 700LTR. I'd like to get the scope lower down, and clearance of the objective should not be an issue. However, There is a definately issue with the clearance on the magnification ring. I will not be able to lower the scope without some sort change in the base. I originally purchased this scope because I wanted something compact on this compact rifle, but even with the "low" NF rings the scope just seems like it's up in the air.
Is anyone else running this scope on a Remington? What bases are you using? I'm particularly interested in the LaRue low rings, possibly with the LaRue 0MOA base, but I'm open to suggestions.
