Rifle Scopes Nightforce Benchrest 12-42 ?

Hi guys, been looking at the Nightforce
Benchrest 12-42 for my target rifle,
6.5-06. Have heard read some comments that’s theyre made in China? Is this true or are they made in Japan? Can anyone verify where they’re made ? Does anyone here have one?
Thoughts? Good scope for target shooting? Looking at the
NP-R2 reticle. Also what would y’all recommend the Benchrest model or the 12-42 NXS?? Thanks

They are a good old scope with a decent F Class following., I had one years ago. Take a look at their newer competition line for something without capped turrets.

If you want the next level it's all about March, and with their external turret models they can pull double duty for some more tactical style shooting. Optical performance on the March is next level. Price is extreme though.

There is also the newer LOW made 5-50's from a few different companies, Delta Stryker comes to mind.

Traditional F-Class scopes just seem to be dying out, front parallax and capped turrets with screwdriver adjustments and small tubes = very little versatility.
