I have had the scope for a while now and when it was mounted, I did notice it was as far back in the rings as I can go to get the right relief. Rainy day yesterday so I was checking over the rifles and thought I'd look into it.

You can see from the pictures, the other rifles the scopes sit where you'd expect. All rifles have same LOP.

Are you guys with the F1's mounting them in a similiar position?

Re: Nightforce F1 position in rings???

Mine was pretty far back ( just like yours ) on my Templar action. I ended up using narrow rings ( TPS rather than Seekins ) to get the scope back far enough and have a little wiggle room between the ring and the turret housing.
