Rifle Scopes Nightforce Manufactured Where?

I've not been around much lately so if this has been answered before please look over it. I thought Nightforce was manufactured totally in the U.S. Then I found this scope. Says it was manuactured in Japan. Is it a replica?

Yep, they are made in Japan. Just FYI, my 3.5-15X50 NXS has the same made in Japan marking.

IIRC the NXS F1 is manufactured in the USA.

It is. As are the compact models.

they are made in the U.S., it's been hashed out before, because 60% of the components are made in japan it has to be marked that it is made there, but the componets come into the U.S. and are assembled and qc tested in orofino idaho

The compact line aswell at F1 are made in USA. To be marked made in USA 80% or more of the parts must be manufacturer in the US. Everything else is marked made in Japan but I'm unsure whether or not they're assembled here or there. Either way everything in the NF line is top quality.
