I had two on pre-order with Jay @ Sport Optics. He just called and said they would be shipping next Monday. Obviously, NF is getting them out the door a little sooner than what was originally predicted. Great news for me as my new Gap-10 has been waiting to be topped off with some glass.

Got the first round of MOAR in this morning. We well be getting pre orders out today in the order that they came in. We have another round that will be here on Wednesday so we have plenty to go around.

Alright, don't laugh but is this the next big thing that is a must have? I just bought a TRG22 and am looking for some glass under $2K, I'm new to long range shooting so sorry if I sound like a dumb ass.

its all depends i prefer moa/moa ive used all but always find myself back to the moa
so for me its a must have for the price point i can't justify a FFP for my needs at this moment

Talked to Chris at sport optics yesterday and my NF will be arriving tomorrow. I feel like a kid on Christmas eve. Stopped by Gary's shop (Talley Manufacturing) today on my way to work and picked up a set of rings complete with crossbones. Both of these guys are first class and I will be a customer for life. If you have never held a set of Talley rings in your hand you don't know what you are missing. I actually found myself opening the box and looking at them 3 or 4 times at least during my 45 minute drive to work. They truly are a work of art. I just get that warm and fuzzy feeling inside knowing that they are not gonna let me down. I guess thats what sold me on the NF as well. They seem like the perfect match.

Sorry for the newb question. This is my first scope with an moa reticle. Is the MOAR true moa or inches per one hundred yards? The only thing I could find in the reticle brochure was the formula for calculating distance, and seems to point towards inches per hundred yards. Just hoping someone could confirm.

Mine is 50, pretty sure you can get it in 56 also.

I like it so far, it's fine enough that it won't obscure targets, but it's got a slightly thicker subtension than the npr1/npr2. it's not a very cluttered reticle but it's still easy to range with. it's the new standard for moa reticles imho.
