I went to remove the sunshade off my 3.5x15x50 NXS (it had been on the for a few years at this point) and while turning it I realized it was actually unscrewing the objective lens off the scope... I'm worried I may have breached the seal, is this normal???
In the meantime the OBJ cover didn't make it all the way off so I just gently screwed it back on. I am supposed to shoot this Tuesday so I'm going to go ahead and roll the dice and send it back afterwards if needed.
