Just need some feed back! Out of the two mentioned rings are they equal? Which one is the strongest? They are going on a Leupold 6.5-20*40 with 30mm tube. The Rifle Winchester M70 264 win mag. Are they as good as people make out? Havent heard much about them on this forum. They will be fitted on 2 piece bases. Are they over rated? Any thoughts?

Re: Nightforce Titanium Rings vrs Mk4 Steel Rings

My unit used the Nightforce Ti's on every SWS we had, except for the M82A1s and SR25s (they already had decent rings from the start). The 82s had Leupy rings and the SRs had KAC (which are pretty much the same as Leupold's).

They were great, I never had any issues with them or heard of any. We field more long guns in a brigade(-) sized Group than an couple of Infantry Divisions, so I saw a lot of them.

I think either one would serve you well.

I have 3 sets of the Nightforce Ultralite rings and use them on my match rifles. Work great. They are what they ship with all the F1 scopes also. They won't let you down.
