I'm looking to purchase a new optic for a Remington Sendero chambered in .300 WM. I'll be using this rig for hunting, long range shooting, & possibly competitively The two choices I'm stuck on are a Nighhtforce F1 (3 - 15 x 50) & the other is a US Optics LR17 (3.2 - 17 x 44).

I've never owned either brand so I'm looking for any advice / input on which is the better choice & why you'd go with that model. Thanks.

I currently own both a Nightforce and two US Optics Scopes. Both are excellent quality and can take a beating and I think I would make the decision based on who had a reticle that more closely met my needs.

You should ask this question in the optics forum. And, IMO, I would go with neither ... get a Vortex Razor.

I have the same rifle, I have the 5 x 22 x56 nxs with moar reticle. I am very satisfied with it. with 20 moa base I have enough adj to hit a mile. just bought another npr2 (mile high discontinued scopes) same basic reticle except no numbers for another rifle. I cannot comment on the us optics as I have not yet owned one. I was once told buy as much glass as you can afford.
