Rifle Scopes Nitrex TR2, anyone use one? Natchez has them.....

Re: Nitrex TR2, anyone use one? Natchez has them.....

I picked one up yesterday when Natchez announced the close out specials. I have looked through their glass on a TR2 (which is what I bought) and it's very good as was build quality. I think they were overpriced when sold directly by Nitrex and there were better values in the $400-$500 range but with the close out prices and $100 rebate, it becomes a great $200 scope.

from my understanding these scopes are almost identical to the bushnell 4200 series being made in the same plant, anyone know if these have a fully transferable warranty like the 4200? warranty may not be anygood after a while anyway since the brand is being desolved. will buy one if the warranty will last.

After some research the nt2, looks identical to the weaver super slam, their most expensive line, limited lifetime warranty, to origenal owner, the address you send a broke scope to looks the same as bushnell repair. so it should be gtg.
Anyone have any info on the ebx reticle, what area will the dot cover at 100 and 1000.

I am really thinking of going this route on my m1a, for less than $300 I think I may be getting a good deal. I really like the 4-20 range also. I just need to think about that dam reticule.

Re: Nitrex TR2, anyone use one? Natchez has them.....

I emailed them and they sent me the specs on the EBX in the 4-20 model. The dot in the center is 1/3 MOA, and the lines leading into the dot are 0.239 MOA.

Re: Nitrex TR2, anyone use one? Natchez has them.....

I ordered the 3-15x50 with illum reticle. Natchez shipped today. If it's on par with the 4200's or grand slams at a price of 269 it will be a heck of a bargain. one inch tube and the limited clicks may be a small problem. I plan on putting mine on a coyote whackin' .204. Not many clicks needed there for shots out to 500.
