Rifle Scopes Nitrogen Filled VS. Hermetic

Looking at getting a scope for my Savage Mark II and was reading a review that said hermetic was used instead of nitrogen. Does anyone have anything to say about this? Is it new technology, better, worse, cheaper? Anything would be helpful.

Re: Nitrogen Filled VS. Hermetic

Ummm... You need to look up the word hermetic and hermetically sealed online, google it. Im sure the scope still has nitrogen in it.

Just marketing, dont read too much into it. When it comes down to it, all scoped are hermetically sealed to keep the nitrogen from escaping.
