I loaded to copy a FGM 175.175 smk 42.8 varget cci primers once fired FGM brass.I did the ladder test and found my load.I did post if I should go up more on the grains for higher fps but decided not too.I shot 20 the other day and they felt fine ,dead on.I went home and duplicated the load and I shot some today and dont think I can get tighter but I do notice they seem extremely loud and more kick. This is 15 rounds at 200 yrds. The primers seem fine and they chamber back in with no problem

Thanks, a hand model I will never be:(.I don't understand the question Mitch sorry.I'm very new to long range and reloading but been shooting all my life.I guess I'm a so called long range shooter in theory.Trying to figure all this stuff out before my next visit to my parents in AZ.

I want to know the variance of the charge weights.

For examle, I weight and trickle my long range charges to hit a -0.05gr to +0.05 gr window (0.1 gr in width). So, say I am loading 155 Scenars in win cases. In this case, I will continue trickline up as long as the charge weight is less than 47.75 gr and I will take kernels out of the platen if the charge weight goes above 47.85 gr. I only accept charges that weigh in the window where the swept hand on the scale overlaps with the readout scribing on the fixed part of the scale. (probably a little better than 0.1 gr)
