New to the forum, and long range shooting. Went out and participated in the match last weekend and had a great time! Just wanted to give a shout out to Adam, Dan, Paul and the others who help make these matches happen. Thanks to Adam for his very helpful advice and for running our squad smoothly. Also want to give a shout out to Mile High shooting for getting me all set up with a solid long range rig! See you guys at the next one!

Out of curiosity what did MHS set you up with? .224 Valkyrie?

No I went with an AT folder with a 6.5cm barrel, since I’m already invested in a bunch of reloading supplies for that caliber. They also recommended it in .308 since it’s a great caliber to train on (long barrel life, etc.). Also picked up a mag speed chrono and a Spuhr mount for a Gen 2 razor that I already had. Paul and Mike are nice guys and super knowledgeable, I’m pretty sure Mike’s got the part number to everything they sell memorized! I’ll be back for a barrel or two in the near future for sure.
