Hello. Long range noob here. I've never shot past 500 yards, but am getting to the point where I'd like to. I've shot rimfire for groups @100 yards & steel out to 300. The rest has been .223 from an AR or Savage 10 out to 500. I want to learn to use the knobs on the scope to adjust for range and possibly wind. Today I use Kentucky, some by guess & some by using a BDC reticle.

Welcome. Where in North Texas are you? I'm in Wichita Falls.

It's. it that hard to learn to use your turrets on your scope. No more guessing once you have done that.

Thanks. I am in the DFW metroplex, and shoot south of Dallas outside Wilmer. I have read good things about Outback.
