I just can't help but feel that we're falling into an epic trap regarding the mental health stuff.
Sure, crazy folks probably shouldn't be walking around freely, but in this day and age, I don't trust ANYONE to make ANY kind of determination that means the difference between retaining and relinquishing rights granted to us all by God.
I mean, 20-30 years from now, 'oh, you don't have a <facebook replacement account>? Mentally ill as hell...' No driver's license, no voting rights, can't own guns, can't get married, kids automatically seized by CPS unless divorced, etc.... Real bad stuff...
That's already in the works in other countries, not necessarily on the mental health subject or the consequences I laid out above, but just a determining factor in wether or not you can work somewhere, or get loans, or get pussy.
Be a model citizen, or be homeless/organ harvested.
