I've visited the Normandy region several times and have always been welcomed with open arms and shown great hospitality. The populace there still understands and appreciates the sacrifices of the U.S. troops who liberated France.

We executed a sea and airborne invasion of their country to kick the bad guy's ass, air dropped tons of supplies and weapons in aid, then gave it all back once we took it.

What's not to like?
