Not sure if this counts as vintage or antique....

Good day,
I'm a total newbie here so forgive me if botched the photo upload. Also wasn't sure of the most appropriate forum, but here goes.

This is my beloved .219 modified zipper, and finding ammo for it is almost impossible.
I wanted to give it a go at the Hathcock match this fall but I need more trigger time on her....and that means ammo.

The cases I have fire-formed and annealed and reloaded are 50 plus years old at a minimum, so they are not doino well. I lose half of what I shoot.

So my biggest question is really for the.....reloading rock stars.
Case forming from 30-30 brass....is it practical?
Is there anyone out there who sells oddball ammo who won't pull my pants down?

Midway has reforming dies, and they are really expensive. Some old reloaders hinted at using 22-250 dies followed by 243's and then some Vulcan like annealing. I'm dubious on that process, 30 cal to 22, I see a lot of split necks.

So what do you think?
