I was popping primers out of once fired brass today on relatively low charge weights. So I was wondering at what charge weights are you guys seeing pressure signs in a Noveske barrel.

It was with Federal brass, so that may have been the issue but I am still curious what your max charge weights are.

The other day I tried 42.3 grains of RE-15 using a Nosler 168 match bullet, Fed 210M primer, Fed brass. Out of a N6 with 21in barrel
Flattened the primer out pretty good. Haven't been able to shoot the 175 SMK loads I made yet to see which works best.

That is interesting.

The load I am going to stick with for this rifle is 43gr of RE15 pushing a 178 AMAX. I can get to 47gr with the same bullet slow-fire with time for the system to cool. If I toss one in and let it cook after a rapid string it has about a 50% chance of popping the primer. 43gr will keep it happy even on a really hot day.

I also use Fed. GM210M primers.

Also, I am using a Tubb Flatwire spring and carrier weight system.

I haven't tried a max load. I'm at 42.8gr varget, 175smk or 178amax, LC match brass, CCI 200. This load has proven to be sub MOA in every rifle I've ever tried it in.

I run a <span style="text-decoration: line-through">Spike's</span> <span style="color: #FF0000">Slash</span> rifle-length heavy buffer.
