Noveske Afghan 14.5" AR15 Barrels (lots of them)

Hey guys,
a local gun shop here in Spokane has a bunch of Noveske AR15 barrels.
He is a friend of mine, I get nothing out of this other than helping folks here on the Hide get some good hard to get barrels in this economy.

YES, I did get permission from a Moderator to post this up.

Here are the details:

Noveske Afghan 14.5"
14.5" Afghan 5.56mm Stainless Barrel
--1 in 7" twist improved polygonal rifling
--5.56 Noveske Match Mod 0 chamber
--Extended feed ramps
--Bead blasted finish
--Mid length gas system
--Gas tube
--1/2x28 threads
--Medium Contour
--Weight: 32oz
--( no gas block ) *

I have this barrel on a Mod 0--shoots lights out. It is hefty, though!

Sweet barrel. Mine shoots lights out. Called the seller. These have 1.9" shoulder behind gas block. Not sure whether that's a plus or a minus or neutral.

I have one with the gas block pinned by Noveske. I've been weighing the options of getting it pinned then shooting it or selling it. Can't make up my mind. Or i could just buy a second one then I could do both!

That's a plus. The average gas blocks are 1.9"

Noveske usually run shorter gas blocks but this barrel should give you more options in reference to your gas block choice. I wish I could get one

I've got a 14.5" Afghan upper and this is a sweet deal. It's a shooter that's for sure.

Thinking about getting one of these, I've never had a barrel without a gas block. Will any gas block work or are some better than others?
