Gunsmithing Noveske barrel on DPMS?

I can not find the answer. Can you use a .308 Noveske barrel with a DPMS .308 upper receiver? Is there anything you need to do to make it work?

Are the barrel nuts different sizes? I read something this morning that said the barrel nut on the Armalite/Noveske barrel is larger than the DPMS, therefore the barrel nut would need to be changed. I am considering building an SR-25 copy using a Noveske barrel if I can. Thanks for any info.

I would just call Dr. No. He is great to talk to. If you cant get him, look up Don Ellis from TGG Inc. in Post Falls, ID. Don is one of the best guys I know, and is personal friends with them. He will have all the info you need. nick
