Took a Noveske NSR on trade I like it but would like to know if it will truly work with a SLR sentry 7 clamp on before I take apart my AR and risk messing up the handgard or gas block.

Anyone know for 100% these 2 items work together?

I have a plain non adjustable set screw GB under a 15” NSR and it’s a tight fit-not much clearance and measures best I can see about 1.325 OAH. .75 SLR GB measures 1.41 OAH. If we say set screw bottom lugs are close to same, the std GB is about .39 above barrel, SLR is .475 above barrel. NSR total space above barrel is .675”.
If you’re using set screw mount, it’s close and could make it-with very little clearance. If a clamp style SLR, don’t think it’ll go without interference with hand guard.

I have several NSRs with the SLR set screw version. They fit just fine with a little bit of room to spare. The clamp on version is a good couple millimeters taller so I can't imagine it would fit without touching.

Just out of curiosity, why? By that, why do you want an adjustable gas block on it? Is it not working?

Just wondering. Thanks
