Noveske NSR

Hey everyone, I ordered an 18" Noveske upper with the NSR handguard and I saw that you have to buy the individual rail sections to put on the rail in order to mount accessories. The only downside to this is that each rail section is $20-25. Does anyone know if you can just buy Magpul MOE polymer rail sections and use those instead? This would save me some money and hopefully a little weight if it would work.

i have a noveske rogue hunter and troy handguards and so long as it has a wide enough backing it should mount to it. The troy mounts have a bar that goes across points to mount and those would work, as for the magpul ones you might have to torque them down harder so they dont slide to the open slot.

It looks like the holes on the Magpul sections are a little closer together than the holes on the Noveske sections. On magpul 's website it says the mounting screws center to center is 1.2". Anyone have a Noveske 5 slot rail section that they could measure for me?
