My humble opinion.. The Nox 35mm is sort of a jack of all trades, but master of none. Like the Reap Gen1, I think most will mount it as a HMT a couple times before ditching the idea. And if you ditch that idea then the 35mm X is the better way to go since you’re either hand holding or weapon mounting.

Maybe you know something I don’t.

I want a handheld scanner that can double as a backup dedicated thermal. The reap ir 35 is ideal. But 5500-6000 for a used one vs 6800 for a new nox 35 with a 5yr warranty.. the nox 35 will wind up at 5200-5400 used next year and has that warranty that is transferable. Id still be interested in a used reap, but at a little lower price than I can find.
