DATES: October 29th and 30th 2011

LOCATION: Tulsa Red Castle Gun Club located on The Zink Ranch,
Sand Springs, OK.

RULES: This is a NRA Registered Tournament. Current NRA High Power and F-Class rules will apply.

COMPETITOR ELIGABILITY: NRA membership is not required to participate in this match. However, all competitors should consider NRA membership to help support the future of competitive shooting.

COMPETITOR CLASSIFICATION: This match will be conducted using the NRA High Power classification system. Any individual or team may, before firing, elect to compete in a higher classification then the one in which they are classified.

REGISTRATION: Pre-registration is required. Entries must be received no later than October 15th 2011. Entries are limited to 48 competitors. Individuals needing to cancel will receive a full refund up to October 24th 2011. *Please Note* Priority will be given to those competitors who enter for both days.

RIFLE CLASSIFICATIONS: Palma Rifle, Any Rifle, Service Rifle, F-Open, and F-T/R

TARGETS:
Targets used in this match will be NRA LR, LR- F & NRA MR, MR-F.

EMPTY CHAMBER INDICATORS (ECI): Safety is paramount! Rifles will have actions open, magazines removed, and an ECI inserted into the chamber at ALL times except - - when on the firing line during the preparation period or during live firing. ECIs will be available for purchase at the range for $1.00

PREPARATION PERIOD AND PROCEDURE FOR CLEARING THE LINE:
At no time is a competitor to leave the firing line with a loaded rifle! All competitors are responsible for safe rifles while on the firing line. At no time should a competitor get out of position without having first placed an Empty Chamber Indicator in the empty chamber of his/her rifle. This fact must be verified by the competitor’s scorekeeper. The penalty for violating this rule is disqualification for both competitor and scorekeeper.

At the beginning of each relay is a 3 minute preparation period. The ECI may be removed but no ammunition may be loaded at this time. Anyone who fires a shot during the preparation period will be scored a miss for the first record shot of that match. Anyone who fires a shot prior to the preparation period or any other non firing period will be disqualified from the competition

COACHING: Coaching is not allowed except during the unlimited sighting shot period of match 1 & 4

TARGET SERVICE: Competitors will be required to pull and mark targets.

SCORING: Competitors will score. Individuals failing to perform the required scoring duties may be disqualified. Standard NRA scoring will be used.

SQUADDING: All matches will be squadded by the Chief Statistical Officer. Check in is required. Squadding assignments will be available one half hour prior to the start of each day’s matches. Firing will begin at 10:00 each day.

CHALLENGE PERIOD AND FEE: The challenge period ends 30 minutes after the posting of the match results. No Challenge fee

AWARDS: The award schedule will be posted at the match.

Match 1: 1000-yard individual slow fire prone. Unlimited sighting shots and 20 shots for record in a time of 30 minutes.

Match 2: 1000-yard individual slow fire prone. 2 sighting shots and 20 shots for record in a time of 30 minutes.

Match 3: 1000-yard individual slow fire prone. 2 sighting shots and 20 shots for record in a time of 30 minutes.

Match 4: Aggregate of matches 1, 2, and 3



Sunday: October 30th, 2011

Match 5: 600-yard individual slow fire prone. Unlimited sighting shots and 20 shots for record in a time of 22 minutes.

Match 6: 600-yard individual slow fire prone. 2 sighting shots and 20 shots for record in a time of 22 minutes.

Match 7: 600-yard individual slow fire prone. 2 sighting shots and 20 shots for record in a time of 22 minutes.

Match 8: Aggregate of matches 5, 6, and 7

Match 9 Individual grand aggregate total of matches 4 and 8



Award ceremonies will be held approximately 1 hour after the conclusion of the match in the main clubhouse.


There is also a 600 yard 2-man 40 shot team match on Friday afternoon starting at 16:00hrs. Entry is $20.00 per team. For iduvidual shooters you can use this time as practice

Is the Sunday mid-range match an NRA Regional, or just the Saturday match? What is the format for the team match - string fire or pair fire?

We have 16 targets so I would like to keep it at 48. If we went 4 relays thats 64
