I think i've seen a few pics here of a nutted Remington/Rem clone. If anyone has such a setup, i'm asking for your help with some measurements. What is the diameter of the nut? Where did you get it? I'm trying to figure out if these will fit a stock i'm looking at purchasing; and hope to get by w/o having to modify it where the nut is. Thanks in advance.

I do not have one, but there are several comapnies that offer them.
Jim Northland offers barrels and nuts for remingtons.
They are Shilen barrels, I believe Pac-Nor also does it.
Get in touch with Jim, he can give you the measurement.
I am almost certain that the ones he provides are the same diameter as the Savage barrel nut, it uses the same wrench.
