Rifle Scopes NX8 1-8 issues

Pulled my NX8 1-8 that sits on top of my Scar 17 out of the safe and the reticle was illuminated while on the off setting. It did not matter what setting I spun it to it always stayed on. If I go between brightness settings I can get it to shut off eventually but the next time I look at it, it is back on again. Newer battery, battery cap is closed tightly. Anybody have this problem?

That's an odd one. How do you like it overall? Mine is mounted but I haven't shot it yet.

Nightforce repaired my NX8 and had it out the door again same-day. This may be atypical, but I was very impressed how quickly they turned (what I think would be) a complex repair around. Very easy to deal with.

That’s good to hear. I have an upcoming hog hunt and may still be bringing this gun with but it will be going back to nightforce right after that.

I've had my NX8 for a whopping 30hrs and have never experienced this issue. Lol

I'm sure NF will get you fixed up ASAP. I'm interested to hear if they attest the issue to the recoil impulse issues of the scar17.
