NX8 Question

Hi All -

I just got an NX8 4-32x50 for an early Christmas present. It's my dream scope, and I love the glass, and can't believe what I've been missing all these years. I have never had a scope this nice. I took it out of the box and was looking at it, installing the throw lever, etc, but the darn locking ring seems super tight. Is this normal? Am I a sissy? How the heck do you loosen it? The reticle looks clear, but I just wanted to make sure it wasn't better in any other position. Any help is appreciated.

I have the same scope. Read the instructions it has jam nut You have to loosen then lock it back down. Nightforce has set it from the factory. They say most won’t need to adjust it.
But you may have already found it. Ether way you will love this scope.

Thanks. I read the instructions. It required just a little more umph. Everything is good now. Yes, I love this scope. Can't wait to get out a shoot with it.
