NY Crossbow Reg Passes!

Starting in 2011 New Yorkers will be able to hunt with crossbows! Yes, we finally got one thing that we wanted..... It's a start at least.....

Awesome. As of 3yrs ago, crossbows are now legal in VA for hunting. Ready'n my Scorpyd RDT-125 Crossbow (www.scorpyd.com) for deer/turkey season.

Trouble is they missed the whole point! The folks that need to, or want to use a crossbow for hunting, want it for archery hunting not gun season. Disabled hunters and elderly hunters can pull the trigger on a rifle or shotgun, but they can't pull a compound bow back and hold it.
We need the crossbow for archery season.

The way I see it is: "At least it's a foot in the door....." Here in NY we are sooo used to getting nothing that we want. Down the road this can be good for everyone.
